Leather Belt Making Workshop - Saturday, December 8
Leather Belt Making Workshop
Saturday, December 8
Join us at the Lineage studio and shop in downtown Harrisonburg on Saturday, December 8 for a hands-on, leather belt making workshop led by Lineage owner/founder, Paul Hansbarger.
In this two hour workshop, you'll learn the basics of making a leather belt starting with a strip of full grain leather and leaving with a completed belt that you made yourself. You'll measure your waist and work with traditional hand tools to cut, punch, edge, burnish, and finish your belt.
As part of the workshop cost, you'll get to choose a piece of leather from a selection of high quality, full grain US tanned leathers. A selection of hardware in various finishes will be available to choose from to finish your belt.
- Cost includes instruction and all materials to make one adult sized belt.
- Ages 17 and up.
- Class size is limited to 6 people.
*If you plan to make a belt for someone else, please let us know in advance and we'll give you instructions on how to get an accurate measurement so that you can make a perfect fitting belt for a gift.
